Foraged Spring Supper at Woolhouse 16th March

Wild garlic, navel wort, primroses and violets are all delicious signs that spring is on its way, these first offerings have traditionally been celebrated and we would like to continue that tradition.

With limited places this evening promises to be rather special. We welcome you with a glass of Nyetimber from our cellar, and invite you to relax in the candlelit surroundings of the old farmhouse before ushering you into supper.

To Begin:

Homemade Handkerchief Pasta with Wild Garlic and Hazelnut Pesto (V)

The Main Event:

Local Loin of Pork, Cooked in our Woodfired Oven, Roasting Jus, Spring Greens, Nettle and Potato Mash.


Warm Nettle, Pea and Parmesan Tart, Little Potatoes and Foraged Leaf Salad. (V)

To Finish:

Early Season Roasted Rhubarb Compote served with an Orange Brulee

  • Coffee and Tisanes will be served at the end of the meal and guests are welcome to relax in the hall.

  • Non alcoholic beverages are available during the meal, but please feel free to bring along your favourite vintages to enjoy.

  • Woolhouse is a working farm and we recommend warm casual dress and sensible footwear

  • Whilst we adore dogs, we ask that yours remain at home
